Paulier, Joseph - portrait of a man
This wax portrait miniature is impressed "Paulier" for Joseph Paulier (?-1826). A similar style portrait appears as plate 208 in Pyke. 921
The term "historical detective" may sound a little strange, but is the easiest way to express the intent of this research.
